How to mange returns with Returns Center?

With  Returns Center by AfterShip, you can manage returns and interact with your customers in this way.

Step Who What to do What will happen
1 Customers Visit your Returns Center and create a return Both you and your customer receive email notifications
2 Merchants (you) In our Shopify app, update the return status to Approved / Rejected Approved: Customers receive email about the return is approved, with the instructions to ship the return items
Rejected: Customers receive email about the return is rejected, with the reject reason
3 Customers Follow your return instructions to ship the return items (Optional) Input the package tracking number. Both you and your customer will receive email notifications when there is a shipment update
4 Merchants (you) When you received the package, update the return status to Shipment Received Customers receive email about the shipment is received and you will inspect and process the refund
5 Merchants (you) You inspect the items and proceed to  refund Shopify order Customers receive a email from your Shopify store about the order refund
6 Merchants (you) When you completed the refund, update the return status to Refunded, (Optional) send email to customers Customers receive a email about he is refunded
