Add Proof of Delivery to Branded Tracking Page
Plans: Enterprise Platforms: All platforms
Proof of delivery (POD) is a written acknowledgment and visual proof establishing that the package has been delivered to the customer. It is a receipt that confirms that the delivery agent has made the delivery. It is an official document in which the customer confirms receiving the order or parcel.
AfterShip Tracking supports the Proof of Delivery feature on the branded tracking page as and when the carrier provides it. Once enabled, customers can view the exact location where the package was left by the delivery agent when they visit the page to track their orders.
Additionally, merchants could access the proof of delivery images provided by the carrier on the AfterShip Tracking admin.

A verification process is to safeguard your customers from privacy breaches. In a scenario where AfterShip cannot verify if it is your customer visiting and requesting proof of delivery, a verification process would be initiated for the visitor where he/she would be required to either put the phone number or email address from which the order is placed to confirm their identify.
If the customer is visiting the branded tracking page by inputting their phone number and email address, verification process would not be initiated.
If the customer is visiting the branded tracking page by looking up their tracking number, verification process would be initiated where email address and phone number will be requested from customers to confirm their identity.

Merchants can access the proof of delivery images provided by the carrier on the AfterShip Tracking admin.
Go to Shipments in AfterShip Tracking admin
Select a shipment that has already been delivered. On the right-hand side panel, if the merchant offers proof of delivery, it will show under Delivered tracking update.

Click the arrow. On a separate popup, the links of all the proof of deliveries will be given. Each link will open the carrier's delivery proof in a new tab.
