How to Submit Claims to the Insurance Company Directly
In order to improve the claim approval process efficiency for the insurance company, we let the merchants review the claim info before submitting it to the insurance company by default to help reduce the back-and-forth communication.
Merchants can submit claims directly to the insurance company via a simple setting.
In this tutorial, we’ll discuss:

Log in to AfterShip admin account
Go to Protection > Settings
Scroll down to Automatically submit claims and check the given option
Once you enable the setting, all new claims will submit to the insurance company directly and this setting won’t affect the submitted claims. The initial resolution status will be ‘to be resolved’ if you enable this feature.
If you disable the setting, you need to review all new claims first before submitting it to the insurance company. You could add more information to the claim for smooth processing. The initial resolution status will be ‘unsubmitted’ if you disable this feature.
No, the claims that are already submitted won't be affected with this change.
