Learn About the AfterShip Shipments Import Process

AfterShip auto-imports thousands of shipments at once to eliminate human errors that happen while importing shipments.

Define shipments import settings in AfterShip

Shopify e-commerce platform

Make sure you have an active AfterShip subscription. AfterShip allows you to import orders fulfilled within 3, 7, 14, and 30 days and created within 60, 90, and 120 days.

Connect your Shopify store with AfterShip
Specify the order import date range.

Once the date range is set, AfterShip automatically syncs shipments to your account. You can modify the set date range later on.

E-commerce platforms other than Shopify

After creating a connection, AfterShip auto-imports orders updated within 3 days and created within 60 days. The set date range can’t be modified for now.

AfterShip auto-import and webhooks

AfterShip uses webhooks to get order update information from e-commerce platforms. However, not all e-commerce platforms support webhooks.

AfterShip auto-imports shipments as and when they’re created from platforms that support webhooks. For e-commerce platforms that don't support webhooks, AfterShip auto-imports shipments every 30 minutes.

E-commerce platforms that support webhooks are Shopify, WooCommerce, Shipstation, BigCommerce, Ecwid, and 3dcart.
E-commerce platforms that don't support webhooks are Americommerce, Squarespace, Prestashop, Magento-2, Magento-, CS-Cart, eBay, Spree, Fluent, and Jushuitan.
