Aftership can notify to the users regarding their shipment status. Merchants can test the email or sms notifications before sending the notifications to their customers.

Testing notifications function

Go to settings > notifications > to yourself
Go to the edit template and make changes as required.
Enable the triggers for the status you want send notifications.
Add a valid non-delivered tracking number to shipment section
Add a valid email address to the customer details.

As the status changes for the shipment, email/sms notification will be triggered to the customer.

Note: If the tracking number is added after it’s delivered, no notifications will be sent even if triggers are turned on.
