No. All your existing notification settings will be seamlessly migrated to the new version. You will not lose any of your configured preferences or settings during the upgrade.

What action is required before I upgrade to the new notification system?

If you send SMS notifications from AfterShip Tracking, we will assign a dedicated phone number to you for sending SMS in the new system. Please submit your business information in admin for phone number registration.

You can refer to this article to understand the requirements and ensure compliance.

What happens if I'm sending SMS in the legacy system and don't have a verified a phone number before the sunset date?
Please submit your business information promptly as phone number verification may take 1-7 days. If you fail to submit your info or if verification is still pending by the system sunset on September 18th, 2024, you will be automatically moved to the new system and your SMS notifications will be disabled. To reactivate your notifications, you will also be required to follow the system guide to register your phone number.

I've been using SMS notifications before the upgrade. Will the upgrade affect my SMS billing?

If you were using the pay-as-you-go billing model for SMS notifications (paying the SMS fee at the end of your billing cycle), you can continue using this model even after the upgrade. Your SMS billing process will remain unaffected, and you can pay the SMS fees at the end of each billing cycle as before.

However, we also offer a new SMS subscription plan which you can opt for if desired. Once you switch to the subscription plan, please note that it is not possible to revert back to the pay-as-you-go model.

How can I switch to the SMS subscription plan?

To switch to the SMS subscription plan, follow these steps:

If you are using our tracking product, visit the admin page and subscribe to an SMS plan from there.
If you are utilizing our SMS marketing products and already have an active SMS plan, you can update your SMS billing model directly on the notification page. After updating, you will be able to share the SMS quota between SMS marketing and tracking notifications.
