Overview

AfterShip enables users to effortlessly send multilingual notifications based on each customer's order language. The system automatically identifies the customer's order language within the notification workflow, allowing for the precise matching and delivery of content in their preferred language.

Please note that the email content will not be automatically translated and needs to be translated manually.

Steps for implementing multilingual notifications

  1. Log in to your AfterShip account.

  2. Go to Notifications > Flows.

  3. Choose the event for which you want to customize the email template and click Edit.

  4. Select the email/SMS template and click on the three dots icon > Add languages.

  5. Under the Manage email languages' section, click Add language to choose a language.

  6. Click Edit to tailor the content to the selected language and hit the Save button.

    The default language will be used when the order lacks language information or there is no matching language.

  7. After configuring the content for multilingual notifications, remember to save the flow and enable it for seamless delivery.
