Installation steps for OpenCart extension for 2.x

Download the new extension from <a href="http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&amp;extension_id=8870&amp;filter_search=aftership" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.

Ensure the downloaded extension filename ends with .ocmod.zip.

Log in to your OpenCart store as an admin user.

Ensure you have FTP enabled on your server. Refer <a href="https://mmosolution.com/How-To-Setup-FTP-For-Opencart.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a> on how to enable FTP on your server.

Ensure the FTP user has the correct permissions to read/write the OpenCart directories.

For proper FTP usage, it is recommended to install <a href="http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&amp;extension_id=18892" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">QuickFix</a>.

Go to Extensions &gt; Extension Installer.

Click Upload &gt; Select the .ocmod.zip extension you had downloaded earlier &gt; Click Continue.

Go to Extensions &gt; Modifications. Click on the Refresh button.

Go to Extensions &gt; Modules &gt; AfterShip Track Shipment v2.0 and click Edit.

Enter your AfterShip username, api_key and change the status to Enabled. Click on the Refresh button.

Verify that the module is enabled and the Carrier List from AfterShip has been updated in OpenCart.

5. Ensure the FTP user has the correct permissions to read/write the OpenCart directories.

7. Go to Extensions &gt; Extension Installer.

10. Go to Extensions &gt; Modules &gt; AfterShip Track Shipment v2.0 and click Edit.
11. Enter your AfterShip username, api_key and change the status to Enabled. Click on the Refresh button.
 
 
 
12. Verify that the module is enabled and the Carrier List from AfterShip has been updated in OpenCart.

Installation steps for OpenCart extension for 3.x

Download the new extension compatible with versions 3.0.0 and above

Ensure the downloaded extension filename ends with .ocmod.zip

Log in to your OpenCart store as an admin user

Go to Extensions &gt; Extension Installer.

Click Upload &gt; Select the .ocmod.zip extension you had downloaded earlier &gt; Click Continue

Go to Extensions &gt; Modifications. Click on the Refresh button

Go to Dashboard &gt; Settings &gt; Theme. Click on the Refresh button

Go to Extensions &gt; Extensions. Choose Modules, click on the AfterShip Track Shipment v2.2 install and click Edit

Once you are inside, enable the App, insert your AfterShip API key and your username. If you don't have an AfterShip account, API or Username. Follow the next steps:

- Create a new AfterShip account <a href="https://accounts.aftership.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.
- Create a new AfterShip API <a href="https://organization.automizely.com/api-keys" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>. Install the API, and generate one API Key.
- Create a new AfterShip username <a href="https://organization.automizely.com/settings/general" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>. It is the short name you've configured for your organisation. Get more details <a href="https://github.com/AfterShip/apps-opencart/tree/3.x?tab=readme-ov-file#faq-and-troubleshooting" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.
