How to Delete Contacts

Steps to delete contacts one by one

1. Log into your AfterShip Email account > Go to Contacts
2. Select **All contacts **

3. Choose the contact you want to delete
4. Click Delete contacts

Steps to delete contacts in bulk

1. Go to the Contacts page
2. Select all the contacts that you want to delete
3. Click Delete contacts

• Enter DELETE in the popup to confirm the deletion of the selected contact profiles. Once done, click Delete.

Important info to keep in mind

• If you are deleting a large number of contacts, it may take some time. Don’t worry, we will show you the progress
• You'll be notified when the action is in progress or has been completed. If there is already a deletion task in progress, you would need to wait for the current one to finish before deleting more contacts.
• All contacts deleted will be removed permanently, and the action cannot be undone.
• Once the deletion task is completed, all the sensitive data associated with the contacts will be removed like event history, recipient record, etc. Also, contacts’ information will be anonymized and replaced with the word Deleted contact.
