How to Blocklist Creators

Plans : Learn more Platforms : All platforms

Overview

Merchants often collaborate with multiple creators to promote their products. However, some creators may fail to deliver the expected results—such as not producing videos or producing content of poor quality. In these cases, merchants may choose to discontinue working with those creators in AfterShip Feed.

To help merchants manage these situations, we provide a Blocklist feature. This allows merchants to maintain a list of creators they no longer wish to collaborate with, ensuring they do not receive future invitations for colllaborations.

Access the blocklist

Go to Affiliates > Manage creators > Blocklist to view your list of blocked creators.
You can also see the reason you blocked them and the date you blocked them.
You have two options for managing blocklisted creators:

Unblock: This removes the creator from the blocklist and moves them to My creators, allowing you to resume collaboration with them.

Delete: This removes the creator from the blocklist entirely and moves them to Find creators. You can still choose to collaborate with them again in the future.

Blocklist creators from My creators

The ‘My creators’ module streamlines how merchants import and manage their creator partnerships.

In the My creators section, you can select any creator you wish to block.
Click on the {...} icon and select Block creator. Provide a reason for blocking, and the creator will be moved to the Blocklist.
Blocklisted creators will no longer appear in your My creators section.

3. Blocklisted creators cannot be selected for collaborations

Once a creator is on the blocklist, they will not appear as an option when you create a target collaboration or send email invitations to creators.
