How to Manage User Roles and Permissions on AfterShip Feed

Roles and permissions provide different levels of access to members based on the tasks they perform. AfterShip allows you to grant role-based access to members. When inviting members to the organization, you can control the privileges of the members by assigning different roles to them.

Log into your AfterShip Feed admin account
Go to Organization > Add a new member
Click Add members
Enter the email address and select a role for the member
Click Add
AfterShip sends an invite email to the new member with a link to set up the AfterShip account.
To delete or remove a member from an organization, click the dropdown icon against the member's name and click Remove from organization
There is no limit to the number of members in any role, except for the owner, which is unique.
Click the Change owner button under Owner
If the account has a password, enter it
Select the member you want to transfer the ownership to, type CONFIRM, and click Transfer ownership to complete the ownership transfer.
If the account is logged in from a third party without a password, we will send a verification code through the registered email. Enter the verification code and select the member you need to transfer the ownership. Type CONFIRM and click Transfer ownership to complete the ownership transfer.
Note: Only the Owner has the authority to transfer the ownership to any organization member. If the person is not a member of the organization, then the owner first needs to add them before initiating the ownership transfer.
Who can invite a member?
Only the owner of the organization can invite a member.
Who can configure the role of a member?
Only the owner or admin of the organization can edit the role of a member.
Note: If you are not an Enterprise customer, then you can only enjoy the roles in the default role. Only Enterprise customers can customize their own roles.
