Managing Custom Fields for Creators
Plans : Learn more Platforms : All platforms
AfterShip Feed’s Custom fields option allows merchants to add additional data for creators that are unique to their business. This helps them better organize and manage their creator data.
These custom fields can be used to display relevant information within creator profiles and filter creators based on specific criteria.
Custom fields are set under the My creators section. Once a custom field is created, it will be applied to all creators in this section.

Go to Affiliates > Manage creators > My creators, then click Custom fields.
You can create fields with two types: Single select and Multi-select.
Single select: You can define a single value or select a single value from the predefined set of choices for a custom field.
Multi-select: You can define multiple values or select multiple values from the predefined set of choices for a custom field.
Add the name of the field in the text box.
After adding a custom field, it will be visible in the Creator details section where you can define your values for these fields.
To add values to your custom fields, go to My creators and select a creator to access their Details page. You’ll see the custom fields you've created listed there under Custom fields.
Click Edit and start adding values for each field.
You can either add a new value for the field by adding the value name in the text field and clicking + Add{custom_field_value}, or select an existing value from the dropdown.
The custom field value you add for a particular creator will automatically be visible in the dropdown for other creators as well when you are setting up custom fields for them.
Alternatively, you can bulk-update the fields using a CSV file. Add a column and input the custom field's name as column header and input the value defined for the custom field.
If you have selected multi-select field type, add values with commas in between.
Example

Deleting a custom field will remove both the field and its corresponding value(s) from all creator detail pages. If you wish to reassign the field to creators, you will need to add the field again and specify its value.
Once the custom fields are set, you will be able to view and filter creators based on these fields in your creator list.
The following will come into effect starting 10th January, 2025.
AfterShip Feed customers on Starter, Growth, and Enterprise will have access to Affiliates feature for free for 1-month (till 10th February, 2024). After the Free Trial period, Starter plan customers must upgrade to the Growth plan or higher to continue using the Affiliates feature while the Growth and above plans customers can continue using the Affiliates feature without interruption.
AfterShip Feed customers on Free Trial will have access to Affiliates feature for 7-days, post that they need upgrade to the Growth plan or higher to continue using the Affiliates feature.
