PrestaShop and AfterShip Feed Configuration Guide

Overview


The article outlines the essential steps for successful integration and operation between PrestaShop and TikTok Shop before connecting PrestaShop to AfterShip Feed.


Connect PrestaShop with AfterShip Feed


Step 1: Access the Webservice key in PrestaShop


  1. Download the zip file for the appropriate version.


  1. Go to Modules > Module manager > Upload a module, upload AfterShip Feed module zip file.



  1. Once the module is successfully installed, you will see a popup saying Module installed.
  • You can see the AfterShip Feed for TikTok Shop module under Traffic & Marketplaces in the Module Manager.



  1. Go to Advanced Parameters > Webservice > AfterShip Feed webservice key.
  • Copy the AfterShip Feed Webservice key



  1. Copy the Store URL


  • For PrestaShop 1.7 and 8.x:
  1. Log in to your PrestaShop Admin Panel.
  2. On the left sidebar menu, look under the Configure section.
  3. Go to Shop Parameters > Traffic & SEO.
  4. Scroll down to the Set shop URL section. Your store URL is combined from the Shop domain (e.g., yourstore.com) and the Base URI (usually /).





  • For PrestaShop 1.6:
  1. Navigate to Preferences > SEO & URLs.
  2. Scroll down to the Set shop URL section to see your domain configuration.



Step 2: Install PrestaShop on AfterShip Feed


  1. Navigate to the connection page on AfterShip Feed, and fill in the credentials to install.





Currency configuration


  1. Default currency matching: AfterShip Feed matches the default currency in your PrestaShop with TikTok Shop's currency during the onboarding. If they are inconsistent, you’ll need to set up a currency converter to sync product prices between your PrestaShop store and TikTok Shop. You can find your PrestaShop store’s currency under International > Localization settings.



  1. Add TikTok Shop currency in PrestaShop: Even if you set up the currency converter to align the currencies of your PrestaShop store and TikTok Shop, you must manually add TikTok Shop's currency under Localization > Currencies settings in your PrestaShop account and set it to Enabled. This step is crucial for order synchronization.



Carrier configuration


  1. Carrier sync: To ensure timely syncing of carrier information from your PrestaShop orders to TikTok Shop, each carrier must be associated with the correct continent that matches the TikTok Shop buyer's address. If not configured correctly, orders may be delayed or canceled.



  1. Edit carrier ranges: While editing a carrier, make sure the Ranges correspond to the TikTok Shop buyer's continent.



Location configuration


To sync TikTok Shop orders to PrestaShop promptly, you need to ensure:

  1. Under Locations > Zones, the zone corresponding to the TikTok Shop buyer’s address is set to Enabled.



  1. Check under Locations > Countries, the country corresponding to the buyer's address is also Enabled.



Payment Configuration


  1. When an order is created in PrestaShop via Feed, it defaults to using either Bank wire/ Bank transfer or Payment by check.



  1. Ensure permissions for these payment methods are enabled in Payment > Preferences. This step is necessary to process orders smoothly.
