TikTok Shop Listing Management

AfterShip Feed’s Listings is a brand-new and updated version of the Product syncing feature. It allows you to manage products imported from your eCommerce platform, edit nearly all their product information, set product-level syncing rules, and publish them on your TikTok Shop directly from the platform without visiting your TikTok admin.
The dedicated dashboard enables you to manage the status of your products from the eCommerce platform to TikTok Shop more efficiently and oversees product syncing from TikTok Shop to the eCommerce platform.
New users: Effective 3rd September 2024, new Shopify users can access and use the new Listings dashboard without any hassle.
For new users using PrestaShop, the feature will be available from 15th September 2024.
For new users using Wix, Amazon, and WooCommerce, the feature will be available from 24th September 2024.
For new users using Magento, SFCC, and BigCommerce, the feature will be available from 27th September 2024.
Existing users: If you are a merchant currently using the Product Syncing feature and want to transition to the new Listings dashboard, you will need to contact the support team for assistance. They will guide you through the upgrade process.
Existing users who are still using the Product Syncing feature will be migrated to the Listings management dashboard before 23rd October 2024.
New users must follow the Getting Started Guide to go through the complete set of requirements before beginning with AfterShip Feed. The guide outlines all the steps required on the TikTok Shop level as well as on the AfterShip Feed level for you to use our product hassle-free and get the most out of our features.
All your eCommerce platform products that have been mapped from the Product center will appear under a Pending status on the Listings dashboard.
You can identify products labeled as info incomplete, indicating they need required information edits before they can be published to your TikTok Shop sales channel.
View variants: Easily check and manage different product variants.
Switch sales channel: If you have multiple sales channels connected to AfterShip Feed, change your TikTok Shop sales channel seamlessly.
Access store-level settings: Quickly navigate to the settings specifically related to syncing products for the entire store to TikTok Shop. This means you can manage how product information, such as details, variants, pricing, and inventory, is synced between your eCommerce platform and TikTok Shop.
Note: If you use TikTok Shop's auto-recommendation feature for product mapping during the product mapping stage, verify the accuracy of the recommendations before publishing.
For products labeled as info incomplete, you need to make required information edits based on TikTok's guidelines to be able to successfully publish the products on the platform.
To access the product details customization section from the listings dashboard,
Click Edit to open the Product details page, where you can manage:
Product sync settings: Basic product information like product title, description, and image as well as variants, their pricing, and inventory information are controlled at the store-level settings.
If the auto-sync feature from the eCommerce store to your TikTok Shop is enabled, all the product, pricing, and inventory updates from your eCommerce store will be auto-synced to TikTok Shop.
By default, product details, variants, pricing and inventory auto-sync from your eCommerce store will be enabled.
If you wish to customize these settings at the product level, meaning for each product individually, click Customize. Once you do, the product will no longer follow the default store-level settings.
Product info editing: You can either edit and save the information or resume auto-sync from your eCommerce platform.
Product variant customization: You can make specific changes to the different variants of a product without affecting the entire product listing including variant image, color, SKU, link to Shopify SKU, product identifier code, etc. You can even add new variants, add the required details, and link it to the Shopify SKU.
Customizing Shopify SKU allows you to link the variant to a different product SKU on Shopify. Simply click Clear to remove the current SKU link and find the new product from the list of Shopify SKUs to link the variant again.
Price and inventory customization: By default, the product price is auto-synced following your store settings.
a. You can set rules for syncing prices and inventory that may differ from your store settings.
Click Set prices or Set inventory. On the customization window, unselect Follow channel settings and select how you wish to synchronize prices/inventory for that particular product and its variants you are customizing. These rules will be limited to that product’s variants only.
b. You can also customize prices and inventory levels for individual products. Click Use custom price on TikTok Shop and set the price you want for the variants in the main value box.
Click Apply to all, if you wish to apply the custom pricing to all the other variants.
If you want to set custom prices for all the variants, input the desired value against each variant, leaving the main value box empty.
c. Click Done once finished.
Category required fields: To optimize your product listing on TikTok Shop you can edit product categories, brands, and attributes, and upload additional materials such as size charts and product certifications.
Edit shipping information: TikTok Shop requires shipping information like package weight and dimensions for accurate calculation of shipping fees, carrier compatibility, and realistic delivery estimates.
Once all the changes are done, Save the changes.
By customizing Product info and Variants on the AfterShip Feed, only the updates you make on the app will sync to TikTok Shop. Updates on Shopify will no longer be auto-synced. This means these product-level customization settings will override the store-level settings.
You can filter products by status to find those with incomplete information.
Click Sub-status from the filters and select Info incomplete.
Select multiple products and use the Bulk edit product info option to make changes, including updating categories and shipping details.
Only products with complete information can be published to TikTok Shop, with a maximum of 50,000 products for bulk publishing.
You can duplicate products as pending items for further editing.
The product status in Listing management corresponds with those in the TTS seller center.
For products already listed on TikTok Shop that haven’t been synced through the Feed, it's crucial to ensure they are properly linked to your eCommerce platform’s SKUs for auto-syncing product information and orders. This is especially important for active products, as customers can purchase them anytime.
If auto-link is not enabled, or if your product cannot be auto-linked, you can filter unlinked products by their Link status or identify them using the Link icon.
SKU linking ensures orders and inventory from TikTok Shop can be synced to Shopify. These TikTok Shop products needed to be linked to existing product SKUs on your Shopify store.
Go to the Active tab of the listing dashboard to see what products are linked and which are still unlinked.
Link status: You can filter products based on their link status. Products can be:
Linked: Successfully connected to your eCommerce system.
Unlinked/Partially linked: Not fully connected to your store, which can impede auto-sync capabilities.
Link icons: Each product has an icon that indicates its link status:
Linked icon: Indicates the product is fully linked.
Unlinked/Partially linked icon: Indicates the product is not fully linked, which you can see in the provided images.
To ensure your products are linked to your eCommerce correctly, you can link SKUs in two ways:
Listing dashboard
Hover over the link icon for the unlinked SKU and click Link SKUs.
Complete the linking process by clicking Save.
Product details page: You can also link SKUs directly from the product details page.
Click Edit for the unlinked product to open its details page and navigate to the Link to Shopify SKU section under Variants.
Let’s understand SPU and SKU first.
SPU: Standard Product Unit, is a parent SKU for multi-variant products.
SKU: Adding one or more specifications based on SPU is called SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).
SPU Linking streamlines auto-sync for existing TikTok Shop products to the eCommerce store, allowing merchants to sync product details (like titles, descriptions, and images) for products already on TikTok Shop and imported to Feed.
When you have existing products on TikTok Shop, the default settings don’t allow for automatic syncing of product information and variants from eCommerce to TikTok Shop since the product source is TikTok Shop. To counter this, the edit options are enabled.
To auto-sync variants from eCommerce for exiting TikTok Shop products:
Click Auto-sync info from {eCommerce} or Auto-sync variants from {eCommerce}.
Match your TikTok Shop SPU with an eCommerce SPU.
This creates a product link on Shopify so we can sync updates from Shopify to existing TTS products. Once you save, details from the linked Shopify product will replace the existing details on TikTok Shop.
Select an eCommerce SPU
A popup will show the number of variants for both the eCommerce SPU and the TikTok Shop SPU. You must assign one eCommerce variant to each TikTok Shop variant, ensuring no eCommerce variant is duplicated across TikTok variants.
Link variants
If the eCommerce SPU has more variants than the TikTok Shop SPU, clicking Link and Override will add the additional variants to TikTok Shop.
If the eCommerce SPU has fewer variants, clicking Link and Override will remove the excess variants from TikTok Shop.

For products imported from the eCommerce platform

Managing existing products on TikTok Shop
For products already listed on TikTok Shop that haven’t been synced through the Feed, it's crucial to ensure they are properly linked to your eCommerce platform’s SKUs for auto-syncing product information and orders.
