Why My Product Review Failed

Overview



After importing your store products to AfterShip Feed, you can sync and get them published on your TikTok Shop Seller Center too.

All the products successfully synced to TikTok Shop Seller Center are first placed under the Reviewing status. It means the TikTok Shop team is reviewing your products to see if they meet the TikTok Shop policies and guidelines.
All the suspended products that fail review can be viewed under the Suspended > Failed tab of the Manage Products dashboard.
All the suspended products that fail review and cannot be rectified and sent again for review due to certain serious product listing violations can be viewed under the Suspended > Frozen tab of the Manage Products dashboard.

Go to Products section in your TikTok Seller Center.
Click Manage Products and then move to the Suspended tab. Under the Suspended status, you can see 2 more sub-statuses.

a. Failed
b. Frozen

There is no definite time period by which TikTok shop will review your products. You can go to the TikTok Shop help center, reach out to the support team via chat, or take help of the virtual assistance if you feel it is taking too long for them to review products.



Failed product review



On the TikTok Shop Seller Center, the products that fail the review, will be listed under the Suspended > Failed tab. TikTok offers detailed suggestions and reason on why your product review failed.

On the AfterShip Feed admin, a Review failed tag will appear under the Suspended status for products that couldn't be synced till the time they pass the review. You can hover your mouse over the Review failed status, and it will display the detailed reason on why the product review failed in a small box.




Fix failed product review



To fix the failed product review on TikTok Shop Seller Center.

Go to your TikTok Shop seller center.
Navigate to Products, then Manage Products.
Under the Suspended status tab, go to the Failed sub-status.

Alongside each product that failed review, you can see the reason or warning message under the Unapproved product listing tab. Click Learn more to view the changes required for the product listing to pass the product review on the side drawer.



Click Edit to fix the issues or update the field values directly on the product editing page. You will find the reason for product review failure in the side box or as a warning message.

If the product is reviewed with success, your product is ready for sale. Also, AfterShip Feed has started to sync the price and stock of the product.

Top 1 review failed "Redirecting Traffic."



Content created or uploaded onto TikTok Shop must not redirect traffic. Content is considered to redirect traffic when the creator explicitly or implicitly includes links, references, or other 'calls to action' that encourages users to leave the TikTok Shop or directs them to other platforms.

"Content" may be in various formats, including e-commerce shop windows, videos, and livestreams. The content included in cover pages, titles, hyperlinks, anchor links, descriptions and other features are also subject to TikTok Shop policies.
