Overview
Videos have always been one of the effective ways to explain how your product works, talk about your brand story, discuss the USPs (unique selling points) of your collections, etc. That's why online store owners add them to their online stores to better engage and interact with customers.
AfterShip Page Builder lets Shopify store owners add YouTube videos to their created pages effortlessly. Here's what needs to be done:
Steps to add a YouTube video
Select the page for which you want to add a YouTube video in your AfterShip Page Builder admin.
Click the {...} icon and select Edit
Click Add section on the preview page, select Add blank section
Click + Add elements, select Video
You’ll see three Video layout settings on the left panel:
a. Video URL: Provide the YouTube video URL
b. Display ratio: Set the screen ratio of the video
c. Display width: Set the display width of the video, whether you want it large or standard.
To add a header for the video, click + Add elements, and select the Text element.
a. Enter the content that you want to show for the Header and Description of the video directly on the preview window in the text field.b. Click the text element to open the text toolbar. You can:
Change the text style (for example, Heading 2)
Apply bold, italic, or underline formatting
Add a link
Change the text color
Align the text left, center, or right
Clear the formatting
Drag-and-drop the section in which the video element is nestled to position the video as per your choice on the page.
Click Preview to see how your page looks before publishing.
Hit the Update live page button to launch the changes to the live page
