Manage Your AfterShip Personalization Subscription Plan

Overview


If your existing AfterShip Plan is not meeting your needs and you require access to AfterShip's more premium features, you can upgrade your plan. AfterShip Personalization enables you to upgrade or downgrade your existing plan based on your business needs. Select a subscription plan that suits your requirements, and you're all set.


Change subscription plan (AfterShip billing users)


AfterShip billing users are the ones using Stripe for payment processing.

  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Personalization settings.
  • You can view your current plan, order quota, personalization revenue quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Select Upgrade now to open the comparison table of AfterShip Personalization plans.

In the above screenshot, the customer is on the Essentials 1.5K - Monthly plan with up to $6,000 in revenue generated via AfterShip.
When they click Upgrade now, the AfterShip Personalization pricing comparison table opens with the next higher plan, Essentials 2.5K - Monthly with up to $10,000 in revenue generated via AfterShip preselected. The customer can choose the preselected plan or increase the label quota within the same plan by dragging the slider on the label quota bar above the comparison table.
If the selected quota exceeds the supported limit for the current plan, the customer will be prompted to upgrade to a higher-tier plan, in this case, the Enterprise plan. Enterprise users must contact the AfterShip sales team to downgrade the plan.



  1. Based on the quota or features, choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  2. A confirmation window will appear showing the new plan details. Review the information, then click Upgrade plan to finalize the upgrade

Downgrade your plan (AfterShip Billing Users)


  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Personalization settings.
  • You can view your current plan, order quota, personalization revenue quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Select Downgrade now to open the comparison table of AfterShip Personalization plans.


In the above screenshot 1, the customer is on the Essentials 1.5K - Monthly plan with up to $6,000 in revenue generated via AfterShip.
When they click Downgrade, the AfterShip Personalization pricing comparison table opens with the next lower plan, Essentials 1K - Monthly with up to $4,000 in revenue generated via AfterShip preselected preselected. The customer can either proceed with the preselected plan or adjust the order quota by dragging the slider (radio button) on the order quota bar above the comparison table.





  1. Based on the quota or features, choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  2. A confirmation window will appear showing the new plan details. Review the information, then click Downgrade plan to finalize the upgrade.

Upgrade your plan (Shopify billing users)


If your AfterShip account is connected to Shopify, your subscription is managed through your Shopify billing.


  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Personalization settings.
  • You can view your current plan, order quota, personalization revenue quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Select Upgrade now to open the comparison table of AfterShip Personalization plans.
  2. Choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  3. Click Confirm and you will be directed to your Shopify store.
  4. Click Approve subscription.
  5. You’ll be redirected back to AfterShip, and your new plan will be activated.


Downgrade your plan (Shopify billing users)


  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Personalization settings.
  • You can view your current plan, order quota, personalization revenue quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Click the (....) icon, then Downgrade to open the comparison table of AfterShip Personalization plans.
  2. Choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  3. Click Confirm and you will be directed to your Shopify store.
  4. Click Approve subscription.
  5. You’ll be redirected back to AfterShip, and your new plan will be activated.



Enterprise users must contact the AfterShip sales team to downgrade the plan.


FAQs


Q. When does an upgrade take effect?


Upgrades are applied immediately after confirmation. You’ll gain access to new features and order and revenue limits right away. Your card will be charged a prorated amount at the time of upgrading based on your current billing cycle and remaining balance.


Q. When does a downgrade take effect?


Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You’ll continue to use your current plan until the current cycle ends.


Q. How long is each billing cycle?


Each billing cycle lasts 30 days.


Q. How to upgrade from a Free Plan to a Paid Plan?


  1. Go to the Home page of the AfterShip Personalization admin.
  2. Click Upgrade Now > choose a desired paid plan.
  3. Confirm plan and add payment details.
  4. Click Upgrade Plan.


Q. How can I upgrade to the Enterprise plan?


To upgrade to the Enterprise plan, please contact the AfterShip Sales team.


Q. How can I change my AfterShip plan?


You can manage your AfterShip plan directly from your billing settings. From there, you can upgrade for higher quotas and premium features or downgrade to a lower plan based on your needs. Enterprise users must contact the AfterShip Sales team to make changes to their plan.
