Connect Magento 1 to AfterShip Returns

Overview

Magento 1 is an eCommerce platform written in PHP. AfterShip Returns is a fully customizable, self-service returns portal. Connect Magento 1 to Returns Center and deliver hassle-free returns experience to shoppers.

Add a new role

Go to Magento Admin Panel > System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles
Add New Role > Enter name (for example AfterShip)> Role Resources
Select All as the Resource Access > Save the role

Create a new user

Go to Magento Admin Panel > System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Users
Add New User > Enter required details > User role > Select the role > Save

Locate Store ID

Go to Magento Admin Panel > System > Manage stores > Select store
Copy the Store ID (from the URL)

Connect Magento 1 store

Go to Apps in AfterShip Returns admin
Click View more apps, and you will be redirected to the AfterShip Returns integration page.
Find Magento 1 and select it to land on the detailed integration page
Select AfterShip Returns from the dropdown and then click Install app
Select the right organization (online store) if you have multiple organizations configured in AfterShip Returns for which you are establishing this integration
Go back to the Integration Tokens for Extensions you saved and fill in the fields below to authenticate the connection



Store URL
Username
API Key
Store ID

Click Install app
