Create CNAME Entry for Branded Returns Page in GoDaddy

GoDaddy is a publicly-traded internet domain registrar and web hosting company. Create a custom domain for the branded returns page to enhance brand visibility and boost customer loyalty.
Note that enabling SSL is mandatory due to the new Cloudflare policy. So, if you are already using a custom domain, make sure the SSL is activated at your end as well for uninterrupted and delightful experience. Connect with our support team for the same.
Let us suppose you wish to set the custom returns page URL as https://returns.brandname.com. So, the value of the host filed will be returns.
Go to GoDaddy > My accounts > DOMAINS
Select your domain name from the list and access the Domain Settings page > Additional Settings > Manage DNS
Add a new record on the DNS Management page > Select CNAME as a record type
Consider www.domains.com as your website and enter details as follows
Host: Based on the above example returns*
Points to: domains.myreturnscenter.com
Domains is a placeholder for your brand's name (i.e., ANTIQUEVASE), this is the returnscenter.com URL that was set up when you first installed AfterShip Returns to your Shopify store (i.e., antiquevase.returnscenter.com)
TTL: Leave it unchanged
Custom domain: https://returns.domains.com
Save all changes
It takes around 48 hours for the changes to take effect.
