Create Returns Labels Automatically

Automatic label generation is crucial to optimize your returns process and reduce manual efforts. AfterShip Returns allows you to create returns labels automatically instead of manually uploading them.

Return requests can be auto-approved in your AfterShip Returns admin with automation rules.
Currently, the auto-label feature is supported for 23 carriers, including UPS, USPS via Endicia, DHL, DHL Germany, DPD NL, FedEx, Australia Post, Seko Logistics (Omni Parcel), Star Track, Canada Post, Correos Spain, and many more.
Go to Return routing rules in your AfterShip Returns admin
Select the return zone and the corresponding routing rule for which you'd like to enable this feature. Click the three horizontal dots and select Edit rule
If you wish to set up a new routing rule for a return zone, click Add routing rule and start filling in the details
Scroll down to the Return shipping methods section and turn on the Ship with a return label toggle button
To auto-generate return labels you need to first set up your carriers, shipping, and warehouse information. Click set up shipping and start configuring your shipping information. Click Save once you're done.

You can also set up workflows to print additional return labels for the multiple items in the same RMA based on your shipping requirements.
If you've already set up your carrier accounts and return locations, the return label will be auto-generated and would look like this. Click Edit if you want to do some changes.
In the Auto-approval section, select the checkbox to automatically approve all return requests for Ship with a return label
Verify all the filled data before hitting the Save button
When a customer based on the return zone for which you've configured RMA auto-approval and return labels auto-generation submits a return request to return/exchange an item with a prepaid return label
a. The RMA request will be auto-approved in the AfterShip Returns admin and the return label will be auto-generated and sent to the customer via email along with the return shipping instructions
b. The customer can download the return label from the returns status page
