How to solve



Admin UI

Make sure that the package price you have entered is a valid value. To edit the item price, go to your AfterShip Shipping admin > Awaiting shipments > Select an order > Edit the item(s) > Verify/edit the parcel unit price.

Ensure that the shipment.parcels.items.price.amount field has a valid value.

Please verify the price of your items and ensure they meet the minimum requirement for the specified countries listed above.

What does it mean



It typically indicates that the service you are trying to select or access is currently unavailable or restricted. For example, you selected a service type that can't be used for your destination, or your account settings have some limitations for this.

How to solve



Based on your shipment information, you can go to the FedEx rate calculator to confirm if it has any available service type for your shipment.

Check account settings, ensuring that your FedEx account settings allow access to the desired service.

Consider using alternative services: If the specific service you need is unavailable, explore alternative shipping options provided by FedEx or other courier services. FedEx usually offers a range of services with varying delivery speeds and features, so you might find an alternative option that suits your requirements.

If you are using the AfterShip Shipping API, ensure that the shipment.parcels.weight.value must be greater than the total weight of the items.



If you are using our app to process your shipment, make sure that the parcel weight must be greater than the total weight of the items.



data.shipment.parcels.0.box_type is not available for this shipment, the weight or dimensions of the parcel do not meet the requirements

Choose the right Package according to weight and dimension constraints.



There is an error when create shipper account: Invalid billing address


What does it mean



The most common cause of account creation failure is when the provided address does not match FedEx's records. For example, if you registered with a billing or shipping address that does not match what is entered in AfterShip Shipping, it will result in an Invalid Billing Address error.

How to solve



Please go to FedEx Billing Online portal under MyOptions/Manage Payment Preferences and update your address accordingly
