AfterShip Secures Connections With TLS 1.2
Overview
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol used to secure end-to-end communications over the internet. AfterShip uses TLS to safeguard communications between web servers and browsers. Check out the requirements to avoid receiving connection errors while accessing our products.
API client requirements
Deprecation of earlier TLS versions will affect API connections if your API client doesn’t support TLS 1.2. If you are using AfterShip/Postmen API then ensure the API client supports TLS 1.2.
Browser requirements
You need to update your browser if it doesn’t support TLS 1.2. The latest versions of all the browsers extend support to TLS versions 1.2. You can check the TLS capabilities of your browser.
Also, update the Windows operating system if you use a legacy version.
