Google Analytics is a tracking tool that helps you collect data from your website and mobile applications to create reports that provide insights into your business.
AfterShip Tracking lets you connect your Google Analytics account to track and collect data for the activity and events on your branded tracking page.
You can also access AfterShip's in-built tracking page analytics to gauge the performance of your branded tracking pages.

You must have an active Google Analytics account and access to the Google Tracking ID or UA Number. Learn more about finding your Google Analytics tracking code from Google .
The tracking ID must be added to each page you want to track. When added to your branded tracking page, your Google Analytics account will collect data on views, visitors, clicks, and more.
If you want to use GTM Tracking, you need a Google Tag Manager account and retrieve the Google Tag Manager ID. Learn more about Google Tag Manager in Google's getting started guide .

What’s tracked
Go to the Admin tab of your Google Analytics account
Select Tracking Info under the Property settings > Tracking Code
Copy the tracking ID
To add the Google Analytics Tracking ID or Google Tag Manager ID to your tracking page, follow these instructions:
Go to Tracking pages and click Page variations in the AfterShip Tracing admin
Select Actions in the top right corner and then click Edit
On the tracking page editor, move to the Settings tab
Scroll down to the Google Analytics section and paste the Google Tracking ID or UA Number into the field
Click Save
Google Analytics will start tracking sessions and visitors on your tracking page.
All the actions customers take on the tracking page are transported to Google Analytics by AfterShip Tracking. You can track all the events under Behavior > Events in the Google Analytics dashboard.
Here is the list of events shown in Google Analytics.
If you need to track more complex events and analyze user behavior, consider installing Google Tag Manager. With Google Tag Manager, you can create tags for various tracking purposes, such as monitoring clicks from marketing assets, form submissions, and link tracking.

form_start | The first time a user interacts with the order lookup section | form_id, form_name, form_destination |

click | The users click a link that leads them away from the current domain and onto the redirected domain | link_classes, link_domain, link_id, link_url, outbound (boolean) |
