Learn About Pending Status in AfterShip Tracking
Plans: All plans Platforms: All platforms
All recently added or imported shipments within your AfterShip Tracking account are tagged with the Pending status, and queued up for tracking in batches. In 99% of the cases, AfterShip Tracking automatically gets the latest tracking information from carriers every 3-12 hours.
If the Pending status continues to show for long or hasn't updated for a while, it usually means that the carrier does not have any delivery information for the tracking number yet. Also, please check if the tracking number and format are correct, and contact the carrier if need be. AfterShip Tracking will continue tracking the shipment until the carrier updates on its server.
The Pending status will change to Expired if the carrier does not provide tracking information updates on the shipment for over 30 days. AfterShip Tracking will stop tracking the shipment and mark it as expired.
