Overview
PrestaShop is an open-source eCommerce solution. Connect PrestaShop with AfterShip and offer a branded tracking experience to shoppers. Follow the steps below to connect your PrestaShop account with AfterShip.
Locate API key
Log in to your PrestaShop store > Advanced Parameters > Webservice.
Generate an API key > Save > Copy the API key.
Install the AfterShip Tracking module
Find the steps below to install the AfterShip Tracking module on your PrestaShop account to enable automated tracking of your PrestaShop orders.
Download the zip file for the appropriate version.
aftership-prestashop.zip (for 1.6.x+)
Log in to your PrestaShop Admin Panel and select Modules and Services.
Click Add a new module.
Click Choose a file.
Select the file from your system.
Click Upload this module.
Click on Install.
Click Proceed with the installation.
Once done, you will see the message - Module installed successfully.
Go to PrestaShop app page > Enter Store URL and paste the API Key > Connect.
Note: Once connected, AfterShip will automatically import order information every three hours.
Create shipments in PrestaShop
Log in to your PrestaShop account
Go to Orders. Select an order to View details
Go to the Shipping tab and click Edit. Enter the tracking number and hit Update
AfterShip Tracking syncs order information based on your auto-import or CSV import settings, depending on what and how you have configured the settings.
