Get Started With AfterShip Feed for TikTok Shop

Overview


This help guide contains a few crucial details you need to know before beginning with AfterShip Feed and explains all the features to let you use our application hassle-free.


⚠️ Important update (February 2026): TikTok Shop now requires all US local sellers to fulfill orders using either TikTok Shipping or Fulfilled by TikTok. Sellers who wish to continue using Seller Shipping must contact their TikTok Shop account manager. AfterShip Feed has been updated to support the new fulfillment flow. See the Select a preferred shipping option below.

How does AfterShip Feed function?


AfterShip Feed provides product feed, syncing order, and Linking TikTok Shop's existing products to your store's products features to merchants.


  • Connect and sync your eCommerce store with multiple TikTok Shop accounts within one organization on AfterShip Feed
  • We only sync the product information obtained from your eCommerce platform stores to your TikTok Shop for more efficient product listing.
  • Information modified on TikTok Shop will not be synced to your eCommerce platform stores.
  • Your TikTok Shop currency must match one of the currencies you use on your eCommerce store. In case of mismatch, you can set Currency Converter to remedy that.
  • We support 10 eCommerce platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce, Magento 2, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central (UK and US), PrestaShop, TikTok Shop, SHEIN, and Wix.
  • You can link TikTok Shop's existing products to your eCommerce platform.
  • We will sync orders with your eCommerce platform stores when orders are placed from TikTok Shop. Orders created from your eCommerce platform stores will not be synced to your TikTok Shop.
  • For US sellers, AfterShip Feed integrates with AfterShip Shipping to support TikTok Shipping label generation and automated fulfillment updates following TikTok Shop's February 2026 policy update.


Checklist to follow


  1. Make sure you have a registered TikTok Shop account and completed the TikTok Shop onboarding process
  2. We support TikTok Shop US, TikTok Shop UK, TikTok Shop Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong SAR
  3. Set up your TikTok Shop's pick-up and return warehouse locations


TikTok Shop: Warehouse settings


1. United States


  • Click TTS Shop name.
  • Go to My Account > Account settings > Warehouse Settings in your TikTok Shop Seller admin.
  • Configure both your pickup and return warehouse locations.
  • Ensure at least one warehouse has TikTok Shipping or Collections by TikTok activated, as this is now a prerequisite for US sellers fulfilling through TikTok Shipping.




2. United Kingdom


Go to My Account > Account settings > Warehouse settings in your TikTok Shop Seller admin to configure both your pickup and return warehouse locations.

  1. Go to Logistics > Shipping > Shipping Templates > +Create to create new shipping templates in your TikTok Shop Seller admin for your configured warehouse locations.




  • Select the rate model, Weight-based or Quantity-based based on which the shipping fee will be charged.
  • Use flat rate or price condition to charge shipping fee on orders for different shipping services.



2. United Kingdom


  1. Go to Orders > Shipping settings > Manage shipping fee template in your TikTok Shop Seller admin.
  2. All your configured warehouse locations will be listed here. Click Edit to set up delivery areas and shipping rules.
  3. To add new shipping templates, you need to first set up additional warehouse locations and configure delivery areas and shipping rules accordingly.

⚠️ US sellers policy update (February 2026): TikTok Shop now requires all US local sellers to fulfill orders using TikTok Shipping or Fulfilled by TikTok. If you want to continue using Seller Shipping, you must reach out to your TikTok Shop account manager for approval. Update your shipping option in Seller Center before continuing.

United States


  • From your TikTok Shop Seller Center, click Orders > Delivery settings > Seller shipping > Switch option




The shipping options in different countries might be slightly different.


  • Choose between TikTok Shipping or Fulfilled by TikTok to comply with the February 2026 policy. Seller Shipping is only available if pre-approved by your TikTok Shop account manager.



After updating your shipping option, you can choose one of two fulfillment methods:


Option 1: Fulfill orders in TikTok Seller Center


Prerequisites


  • Set up at least one warehouse with TikTok Shipping or Collections by TikTok activated.


How it works


  1. Go to TikTok Shop Seller Center > Manage orders
  2. Select the order.
  3. Click Arrange shipment.
  4. Complete fulfillment using TikTok Shipping.
  5. Once a 4PL label is generated in TikTok Shop, AfterShip Feed will sync the order status back to your eCommerce platform. For Shopify stores, the tracking number will also be synced.



Option 2: Fulfill orders in AfterShip Shipping


AfterShip Feed and AfterShip Shipping work together to support the new TikTok Shop fulfillment policy by enabling you to:


  • Continue using AfterShip Feed to sync TikTok Shop orders to your eCommerce platform
  • Print TikTok Shipping labels directly from AfterShip Shipping
  • Automate fulfillment, including updating order statuses on your eCommerce platform. For Shopify stores, Feed also syncs the tracking number.


Prerequisites


  1. Install AfterShip Shipping for TikTok Shop.
  2. In AfterShip Shipping, go to Carrier accounts and add TikTok Shipping as a carrier.


How it works


  1. Orders that are not yet ready to ship will appear in the Awaiting shipment dashboard with Missing info shown in the Recipient column. This indicates that the order is temporarily on hold and cannot be fulfilled yet.



  1. When the order status changes from On hold to Awaiting shipment, open the order in AfterShip Shipping, review the shipment details, and create a shipping label using TikTok Shipping.



  1. After the label is created, the order status will automatically update to Shipped, and the tracking number will be attached to the order and synced accordingly.



Managing multiple sales channels in AfterShip Shipping


Beyond TikTok order fulfillment, you can connect AfterShip Shipping to multiple sales channels to centralize shipping management across platforms.


⚠️ To prevent duplicate fulfillment, TikTok orders should be processed first before handling orders synced from other platforms.


  1. Install AfterShip Shipping for both TikTok Shop and the eCommerce platforms you use. View the complete supported integration list.
  2. In AfterShip Shipping > Carrier accounts, add TikTok Shipping as a carrier account.


Since AfterShip Feed syncs TikTok Shop orders into your eCommerce platform, duplicate orders may appear in the dashboard. Use Filter by Store to locate TikTok Shop orders and create labels for them first.


  • Click More filters, then select TikTok Shop in the Store section.



  • Review the order details and create the shipping label.



After the label is created, the order will appear in the Shipped dashboard, and the corresponding order on your eCommerce platform will also be automatically updated to Shipped.

Configure AfterShip Feed settings


1. Map product categories


  • Products from your eCommerce platform will be automatically pulled to AfterShip Feed's Product dashboard.
  • Each product will display Active or Inactive status based on their status in the eCommerce platform.
  • You can manually map the product category between your eCommerce platform stores and TikTok Shops with AfterShip Feed and choose stores to list them on before syncing your products.
  • If you are listing a product on two different sales channel (TikTok stores), you will be required to select the category you want to map it with on each channel.
  • You can also choose the option TikTok Shop Auto recommendation. The API automatically analyzes your products and recommends suitable sales channel categories based on the product title, description, and image.
  • Once done, you will find your product mapped to the selected TikTok Shops, which will show under Sales channel


  • If you edit the categories in your eCommerce platform stores' admin, it would take 30 minutes to see the changes in our app.
  • Only one category can be selected for each product.
  • You can bulk map products to a TikTok Shop category by bulk-selecting products and selecting a sales channel to list them on and a TikTok Shop category.


2. Create category templates


If you want to automate the product mapping process, create category templates.



  • Set custom rules to automatically list your products to a sales channel where products in a particular template will be sold.
  • Set custom rules to automatically map your products to TikTok Shop categories
  • Any new products you add will be automatically listed and categorized based on your rules
  • Streamline the process of adding product information by applying all required information at once, instead of for each product individually
  • You can choose whether the mapped products will be synced to TikTok Shop automatically and become active after being reviewed or you wish to sync them manually.

Is it possible to edit mapped categories?


Yes, you can edit categories of mapped products under the Listings tab.


  1. Go to Listings , where you'll see products you've mapped so far.
  2. Click the {...} icon, the. Remove for the product you wish to edit. This will put the product back under the Products dashboard where you can map it again.




  1. Choose the product again for a new category mapping from the Products page.



  • You won't be able to change category mapping using our application if a product has already been synced to your TikTok Shop. However, you can change the product's category from the TikTok Shop Seller Center, but it would cause failure in creating orders on your eCommerce platform stores.



A. Product syncing (Legacy)


Once the category mapping is done for all your products, you can sync them to your TikTok Shop. They will be treated as new product listings after the syncing.


  1. Go to the Product syncing page (Only products with category mapping will be displayed)
  2. Select the products and click Sync products.
  3. Product can be synced to your TikTok Shop channel once the information required to sync is duly filled. To edit the product information, click Edit and fill in the required details and hit Save




  1. You can perform a bulk action by selecting all the SKUs of one product and syncing them in one go. Of course, you can choose specific SKUs if you only want to sell certain product variants on your TikTok Shop.



  • Use the Link Products feature if you have already uploaded products from TikTok Shop Seller Center and want to manage orders placed on your TikTok Shop through eCommerce platform stores. Find out more here.




  • If you already have a TikTok Shop with certain products and wish to sync the same products from your eCommerce platform stores, please delete your TikTok Shop products in advance to prevent duplicate product entries.
  • After syncing products to your TikTok Shop, you will see your products with either of the following statuses


  1. Reviewing
  2. Review failed
  3. Active (We will tell you the reason why the review failed)


Once a product is synced to your TikTok Shop, it will be under review by default. You will also see the Reviewing status on your TikTok Shop Seller Center. The review time depends on the TikTok Shop platform's process.


B. Listing management (New version)


Available for new Shopify and PrestaShop users



AfterShip Feed's Listings is a brand-new and updated version of the Product syncing feature. It allows you to manage products imported from your eCommerce platform, edit nearly all their product information, set product-level syncing rules, and publish them on your TikTok Shop directly from the platform without visiting your TikTok admin.


The dedicated dashboard enables you to manage the status of your products from the eCommerce platform to TikTok Shop more efficiently and oversees product syncing from TikTok Shop to the eCommerce platform.

3. Manage your orders


In AfterShip Feed Orders tab, you can easily keep track of all your orders. Additionally, if any of your orders fail to sync, you can view detailed information regarding the reasons for the failure and instructions for how to rectify the issue. This feature ensures that you stay informed about the status of all your TikTok Shop orders and are able to take appropriate actions in case of any errors or issues.


For US sellers operating under the new fulfillment policy, AfterShip Feed continues to sync TikTok Shop orders to your eCommerce platform. Once an order is fulfilled β€” either in TikTok Seller Center or in AfterShip Shipping using TikTok Shipping β€” the shipped status (and the tracking number, for Shopify stores) will be synced back to your eCommerce platform automatically.

FAQs


1. What should you do about the failed review status?


If any of your products got rejected by the TikTok Shop, we would show the Failed review status along with the reason. If you want to modify the product information to clear the review process, edit the product fields on TikTok Shop Seller Center.


Please note that editing product fields in our application won't make a difference, as your changes will not be updated to TikTok Shop. You'll need help to file a new review request for the rejected products.


2. What does each product status mean?


Check this table to learn about what statuses we show and their meaning:

Status description

Not synced

When a category mapping gets done for any product, it gets a "Not synced" status by default.

Failed to sync

Synchronization fails when the required product field is missing or invalid. By updating the product field to the right value, you can fix the sync problem.

Under review

When you sync a product to TikTok Shop, it gets reviewed by the platform. Until the status turns into "Live" on TikTok Shop, you can't sell it.

Failed review

This status is shown for products rejected by the TikTok Shop platform. You can check the reason on your TikTok Shop Seller Center dashboard. In this case, you must modify the product description and submit it for listing again.

Active

It means the product is synced to TikTok Shop and can be purchased by buyers.

Synced

The product is synced to TikTok Shop, but it has been unlisted. For example, the product status is deactivated, drafted, or deleted on the TikTok Shop dashboard.


3. What should I do after syncing my products?


  • When you sync a product from your eCommerce store, all the related product fields (e.g., product titles, images, description) get synced to the TikTok Shop.


If you wish to stop auto-syncing for changes made to certain product details you make on Shopify to TikTok Shop, you can disable the option under  Product sync  settings that can be accessed under the Channel settings



  • We currently support a simple product description format, including copy plain text, images, and bullet points. However, rich formats like tables, ordered lists, etc., aren't properly displayed on TikTok Shop. Thus, we suggest checking the product description after syncing your products to the TikTok Shop and making the required modifications.
  • We set a default value for some fields which BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento-2, or Shopify platforms don't support for successful product syncing
  • Upon successful product listing, two product fields: Price and Inventory, would be updated automatically whenever you make changes from your eCommerce platform admin. This will affect your TikTok Shop product in two ways:


  1. If you change price and inventory from your TikTok Shop, the data would be overridden by changes you make in your eCommerce platform stores
  2. If you modify product fields other than price and inventory, such as product name, images, etc., changes will not be updated to TikTok Shop automatically


  • It will take effect immediately if you change the product detail information, such as images, description, etc., on your TikTok Shop. The changes related to product detail information (other than price and inventory) from your eCommerce platform stores will not be updated to TikTok Shop's products.
  • When you change the product price and inventory on your Magento-2 store, it will take at most 15 minutes for changes to be applied to your TikTok Shop. For BigCommerce and WooCommerce, changes get updated immediately.
  • Please note that BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento-2, and Shopify slowly update the inventory information. It means you might end up doing overselling.


4. What are the possible reasons for a failed order syncing?


There are situations when we fail to sync orders from TikTok Shop to your eCommerce platform stores. The most common reasons for failure are:


  • The ordered product has been deleted from your eCommerce platform
  • The required fields for the order syncing are either missing or invalid from TikTok Shop
  • The TikTok Shop products are not linked to Shopify products



5. What should I know for hassle-free order management?


AfterShip Feed Order Center lets you seamlessly track and manage all your orders. Additionally, if any of your orders fail to sync, you can view detailed information regarding the reasons for the failure and instructions on how to rectify the issue. This feature ensures that you stay informed about the status of all your TikTok Shop orders and are able to take appropriate actions in case of any errors or issues. Learn more


6. How to handle cancellations, returns, and refunds properly


You can check cancellations, returns, and refund information from the homepage of our app, but these cannot be processed through eCommerce platform stores' admin. These will need to be handled via TikTok Shop Seller Center.


If you cancel orders through your eCommerce platform stores' admin, this will not automatically be updated on TikTok Shop. You also have to cancel orders on TikTok Shop.


If you cancel orders through your TikTok Shop, the order status will be updated automatically in the order section of your eCommerce platform stores. However, the status will remain the same if you handle a return or refund request through your TikTok Shop.


7. I'm a US seller β€” does the February 2026 TikTok Shop fulfillment policy affect me?


Yes. Starting February 2026, all US local sellers must fulfill TikTok Shop orders using TikTok Shipping or Fulfilled by TikTok. If you want to keep using Seller Shipping, contact your TikTok Shop account manager to request approval. To stay compliant, update your shipping option in Seller Center, then choose one of the two fulfillment paths described above: fulfill in TikTok Seller Center, or fulfill in AfterShip Shipping using TikTok Shipping labels. AfterShip Feed will continue syncing order status (and tracking numbers for Shopify) back to your eCommerce platform in both cases.


8. Can I fulfill eCommerce orders synced by Feed first?


No. TikTok orders must be fulfilled using the TikTok Shipping service only. Do not fulfill TikTok Shipping orders synced by Feed through a 3PL β€” externally generated labels will not be accepted by TikTok Shop and may result in unnecessary shipping costs. Always process TikTok Shop orders first, then handle orders synced from other channels.


9. I'm using another shipping app. What should I do to prepare for this policy?


  1. Check with your current shipping app to see if it supports TikTok Shipping.
  2. If it doesn't, you can install AfterShip Shipping for TikTok Shop only, which lets you manage TikTok order fulfillment while keeping your existing workflow for other channels unchanged.
