Supported Image Formats to Sync Product Listings on TikTok Shop

Overview


TikTok Shop accepts product images in JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats. However, our app will convert your image files into JPEG if they are in the following formats:


  • WEBP
  • TIFF
  • PDF
  • GIF
  • SVG


The format conversion would affect all the fields related to the product images.


Beyond file format, your images need to meet the following requirements before they can sync successfully:


  1. Main image


  • Must show the front view of the product against a pure white background
  • Should be a single product unless it is sold as a set
  • No overlaid text, logos, watermarks, borders, or graphics


  1. All images


  • Minimum resolution: 600 Γ— 600 pixels (square format)
  • Must be in color: black and white images are not accepted
  • Must accurately represent the product the customer will receive, no placeholders or digital renderings
  • Each image should show a different angle or detail. Duplicate angles are a violation


  1. How many images


  • You can upload up to 9 images per listing
  • TikTok Shop recommends 5 to 9 images for the best results. A mix of primary shot, secondary angles, and close-ups


  1. Video


  • You can include 1 video per listing, with a maximum file size of 5 MB


Tip: Use the Seller Center's background optimization tool to clean up images and add a white background if needed.
