Integrate Marketplacer with AfterShip Returns

AfterShip Returns integration with Marketplacer allows marketplace owners and sellers to simplify and automate their return process and provide their customers with self-service returns solution to improve post-purchase experience.

Install Marketplacer in AfterShip Returns



Navigate to the Apps section in your AfterShip Returns admin.
Click View more apps.
Search Marketplacer, click on it and you will land on the Marketplacer integration page.
Select AfterShip Returns from the dropdown and then click Install app.
Select the right organization (online store) if you have multiple organizations configured in AfterShip Returns for which you are establishing this integration
Click on Install app.
Fill in the fields below to add and authenticate new connection.

Enter the API endpoint and API Key. ( Refer to this section)
Set the Default currency (ISO 3 code) to match your store's currency.
The password and username fields are optional.

Generate a new API Key in Marketplacer



Go to Marketplacer and move to the Configuration section.
Click Marketplacer API Keys on the side panel.
Copy the current API endpoint under the About the Marketplace API section.
Create a New API Key. Define a name and provide a description for the new API Key.
Input the legal name of the entity agreeing to the API Licence and click Create.

Make sure to save the API key as it will only be shown once.

The generated API key will be visible under Your API Keys.
Once the connection is established, you will see a confirmation screen indicating a successful integration.
You can also see the connected Marketplacer store listed under the Installed apps in the AfterShip Returns Apps section.

Post connection actions



Once your Marketplacer store is connected to AfterShip Return, complete the following steps to give your customers a streamlined returns process.

Step 1. Customize your return page
Step 2. Set up and customize return notifications
Step 3. Configure your store’s general return policy
