Overview
AfterShip Feed's Product sync feature allows you to
Link products between TikTok and {eCommerce} platforms that share the same SKU.
Manage and fulfil TikTok Shop orders on your eCommerce platform by linking products with the same SKU
You can choose to automatically link products or do it manually for each product based on your requirements.
How the product sync works
Once your products are imported from your TikTok Shop to AfterShip Feed, you will see a separate tab called Products from TikTok Shop. This tab shows all the products uploaded from your TikTok Shop Seller Center account.
If you are setting up the account for the first time, a prompt window asking you if you want to enable the auto-link products feature or do it manually will appear.
If you choose to do it automatically, AfterShip Feed will automatically link the products listed on your TikTok Shop to your eCommerce platform stores and vice versa. In addition, new products uploaded on TikTok Shop will also be linked automatically. We consider SKU IDs to match products.
If you choose to do it manually, you can Link product SKUs in two ways:
Manually link TikTok Shop SKU to your {eCommerce} platform SKU
1. Channel listings dashboard
Hover over the link icon for the unlinked SKU and click Link SKUs.
Complete the linking process by clicking Save.
2. Product details page
You can also link SKUs directly from the product details page.
Click Edit for the unlinked product to open its details page and navigate to the Link to {eCommerce} platform SKU section under Variants.
SKU linking implications
If two SKUs are linked together, our app will regard them as the same SKU. This will have the following effects on your product and orders.
When you edit the price and inventory of the linked products on your eCommerce platforms, they will be updated automatically to TikTok Shop's linked products if your auto-sync settings are enabled.
When orders are generated with the linked products on TikTok Shop, the same orders will be synced back to your eCommerce platform. Our app creates orders on your eCommerce platform stores for those products that are linked to the TikTok Shop's products.
How to unlink products
You can unlink any SKU according to your needs. From the Channel Listings dashboard, go to the listing's detail page.
Scroll to Variants and click on the TikTok Shop SKU to which the {eCommerce} platform SKU is linked. Click Clear on the SKU list and confirm. The selected SKU will be unlinked straight away.
Please note that unlinking an SKU means the relationship between the two SKUs is no longer effective, which means price and inventory changes will not be updated from your eCommerce platform stores. Orders (with the unlinked SKUs) created on TikTok Shop will not be synced to your eCommerce platform stores.
You must know your {eCommerce} platform product SKU in order to link TikTok products successfully.
