Schedule Email Reports for Returns Analytics

Plan: Essential, Premium, Enterprise | Platform: All platforms

Overview

Returns Analytics Email Reports let you subscribe to any Returns Analytics dashboard or report by email, so the data is delivered to you automatically instead of you having to open the admin and export it by hand.

With this feature, you can:

  • Get analytics data automatically, with no manual download and needing anybody to remember to retrieve the report.

  • Share Returns performance metrics, such as retained revenue, refunds, and return rate, with internal team members and external recipients on regular intervals.

  • Email a snapshot with a link to the dashboard/report, or attach the full data as a CSV or PDF. Send it once, or set up a recurring schedule — daily, weekly, or monthly.

Email a dashboard or report

  1. Go to Returns > Analytics and open the dashboard or report that you want to email, for example, Overview.

  2. Filter the data if needed, then save it as a new view.

    • The new view's name appears in the top-right corner, showing only the data filtered for that view.

    • Click the view name to switch between your other saved views.

  3. Click Email dashboard in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Email this dashboard.

Edit or manage recurring emails

Only the owner, admin, and managers can create or make changes to scheduled email settings.

  1. Go to Returns > Analytics and open the dashboard/report.

  2. Click Email dashboard in the top-right corner, then select Manage recurring emails.

  3. From the drop-down menu, do one of the following:

    • Click Edit to modify the content in the right panel according to your requirements.

    • Click Delete to permanently stop the recurring emails.

    • Click Deactivate to pause the schedule; you can reactivate it whenever needed.

Limitations

The emailed snapshot can't show all the data when a report is too wide. If a report table has more than 3 columns, the snapshot image in the email is cut off, and columns beyond the third don't render. To get the complete data, use the CSV or PDF attachment under Additional options instead of relying on the snapshot image.
