How to Perform Actions for Bulk Shipments?

You can now perform bulk actions for all the shipments on the shipment visibility dashboard in your AfterShip Tracking admin. Previously, you could only perform bulk actions for 20 shipments at a time, but now that limit is lifted. You can take multiple actions for all or more than 20 shipments or all shipments simultaneously.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to:
Shipment selection
Bulk actions
Progress report
Go to the Shipments dashboard in the AfterShip Tracking admin
Select the tickbox for Showing 50 shipments to select all the 50 shipments displayed on the current shipment dashboard

Maximum of 50 shipments are displayed on the shipment dashboard at a time
Click Select all shipments to select all the shipments on every page of your AfterShip Tracking shipment dashboard


You can also select shipments in bulk based on specific criteria by sorting and filtering shipments by status, carrier, shipment creation date, issues, source, and more

Filter or sort shipments data
Select 50 shipments tickbox or Select all shipments based on your requirement
Take bulk actions (explained below)
Once shipments are bulk selected, you can take bulk actions for the selected shipments. This means you don’t have to make the same change in each shipment individually. Instead, with this functionality, all the shipments will be automatically updated with the change by just performing it once.

Go to Add tags on the sub-header below the search bar
Enter a tag in the Search or create tags field
If the tag you’ve input is already there, it will show up in the dropdown
If the tag you’ve input is new, click Create and then Confirm
To perform more changes for the selected shipments, click More actions
Select the action you want to perform from the dropdown menu
Click Confirm
Here’s the list of actions you can perform for bulk shipments
Add tags - Create and add tags to shipments to organize, filter, and sort them more efficiently
You can add up to 10 tags at once
Mark as delivered - Change the status of the selected shipments to “Delivered”
A flag icon will appear next to the status on the dashboard, indicating the shipment is manually marked as delivered
Mark as lost - Change the status of the selected shipment to “Exception (Shipment lost)”
Mark as returned - Change the status of the selected shipments to “Exception (Returned to sender)”
Update carrier - Update the carriers of only the pending shipments out of all the shipments selected
You can update carriers a maximum of 5 times per shipment
Delete - Delete the selected shipments from the shipment dashboard. The deleted shipments will no longer be tracked in reports
Once the bulk action is completed, there will be a progress report showing the results of the actions performed.
