Opening CSV Export in Google Sheets
Users can export the tracking data from their AfterShip account in the form of CSV file by following these steps.
You can open this file using Google Sheets but some of the tracking numbers have “0” prefix, for e.g. 0648683284752281, or 0303710284408686 and these come up as 648683284752281 or 303710284408686. This can become the cause for bad data as these tracking numbers will not display any information.
This can simply be eliminated by following these steps:
Open a blank Google Spreadsheet.
Click on Import and then select the Upload tab. From there select a file from your computer and then you’ll get the option to browse the exported file. Select the file and click open.
Once the file is uploaded, you’ll see a dialogue box as mentioned below:

Select ‘No’ where it says “Convert text to numbers” and then click on Import data.
Your file will be imported with correct tracking number format.
