Send Analytics Dashboards and Reports via Email

Overview



AfterShip Tracking allows merchants to effortlessly schedule recurring emails to share analytics reports and dashboards. Merchants can choose to send the emails along with a snapshot or link to the report/dashboard, and set flexible sending frequencies- daily, weekly, or monthly. Stay organized, enhance communication, and ensure vital information reaches the right recipients consistently.

Send a dashboard or report via email



Go to AfterShip Tracking admin dashboard
Click Analytics
Select the dashboard or report that you want to send via email
Click Email dashboard on the top right corner of the dashboard
Select Email this dashboard



Set up the required details in the right side panel

Recurrence: Click Send now under the recurrence settings



Content:

Write a suitable Subject for the email
Enter the Message that you want to show in the email body

Recipient:

Select the Recipients to which you want to send the email
Click All members if you want to send the email to all the added members in the organisation
Click Specific members if you want to send it to selected members

An email will be sent to each selected recipient respectively.

Edit all the filters that need to be applied to the selected report.

Additional options:

In this section, you can choose to attach the selected view in the email in multiple formats, including CSV, PDF, and No attachment.

Once done, click Send email

Merchants can also send a test email by clicking Send test to ensure the accuracy.

Schedule a dashboard or report over email



Go to the AfterShip Tracking admin panel
Click Analytics
Select the dashboard that you want to schedule email for
Click Email dashboard > Email this dashboard
Select Schedule recurring under the Recurrence settings
Enter a suitable name for the recurring email
Enter a suitable Subject and Message
Enter the necessary details under the Delivery schedule section, such as:

Frequency: Decide how frequently you want to send the emails
Time of the day: Set a specific time to schedule the emails


Modify the filters that are required to be applied to the dashboard or report that you want to send via email.
Select the format in which you want to attach the selected view under the Additional options. The formats include CSV, PDF, and No attachment.
Merchants can also choose to send the email even if there’s no data in the particular view by checking the Send email even if there is no data option.
Once done, click Schedule email



Manage recurring emails



Please note that only the admin, owner and manager can create and make changes to scheduled settings. Also, you can create a maximum of 10 recurring emails for each dashboard/report.

Go to AfterShip Tracking admin dashboard
Click Analytics
Select the dashboard that you want to edit the recurring email for
Click Email dashboard > Manage recurring emails



Click Edit and modify the content in the right panel according to your suitability
Click Delete if you want to stop sending the recurring emails
Click Deactivate if you want to use the schedule again in future
