Overview
TikTok Shop requires shipping size and weight details (package weight, length, width, and height) for certain product types before they can be listed. Platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento-2 do not mandate this requirement natively, so the information must be provided within AfterShip Feed before syncing.
You can manage size and weight details in three ways through AfterShip Feed:
Individually: You can edit a single product from the Channel Listings dashboard.
In bulk: You can edit multiple products at once.
Automatically: You can use Automations or Templates to pre-fill shipping details.
Channel Listings dashboard
Plans: Essential, Pro, ENT (1.0) | Starter, Growth, Enterprise (2.0) | Basic, Scale, Enterprise (3.0)
Platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento2, Wix, BigCommerce, Amazon, Salesforce, PrestaShop
Sales channels: TikTok Shop, SHEIN (UK, US, EU, MX, JP)
Note: Channel Listings is the current product management interface in AfterShip Feed, replacing the legacy Product Syncing feature. All new and migrated users manage their TikTok Shop product listings here.
Manually: Individually edit product information
Go to Channels Listings in the AfterShip Feed admin.
Locate the product you want to update and click Edit to open its details page.
To find products with incomplete shipping info, click Sub-status and select Info incomplete.
Navigate to the Shipping tab.
Enter the package weight, length, width, and height.
Click Save.
Manually: Bulk edit product information
From the Channel Listings dashboard, filter products by status. To find products with incomplete shipping info, click Sub-status and select Info incomplete.
Select multiple products using the checkboxes.
Click Bulk edit product info.
Fill in the shipping weight and dimensions. The values will be applied to all selected products.

Automatically pre-fill size and weight information
You can avoid entering shipping details manually for every product by configuring them once and having AfterShip Feed apply them automatically. There are two ways you can do this in AfterShip Feed.
Option 1: Global templates (Recommended for consistent package sizes)

Platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento2, Wix, BigCommerce, Amazon, Salesforce, PrestaShop, Makeshop
Sales channels: TikTok Shop (UK, US, EU, MX, JP)
AfterShip Feed’s Templates feature lets you save standard shipping dimensions once and reuse them across your entire catalogue.
When a product is mapped to TikTok Shop and its store data does not include shipping dimensions, AfterShip Feed automatically applies a matching Shipping Info template as a fallback.
If your eCommerce store (e.g., Shopify) already provides product dimensions, that data takes precedence. Templates only fill in missing information.
You can create up to 10 Shipping Info templates per organization and apply them to all connected TikTok Shop stores or specific ones.
To create a Shipping Info template:
Go to Settings > Templates in the AfterShip Feed admin.
Click Create template.
Enter a descriptive Template name (e.g., “Standard US Package”) and a Template description to help AfterShip Feed match it to the right products automatically.
Select the Sales channel(s) this template should apply to, or leave it set to all stores.
Select Shipping info under Template type.
Enter your standard package dimensions, including,
length, width, height, and weight.Click Save.
You can also save shipping details directly from a product listing detail page via Channel listings, while editing a product. Go to the Shipping tab and click Save as template next to the package dimension fields.
To prioritize templates when multiple templates match a product, drag and drop them into the preferred order under Settings > Templates. AfterShip Feed applies the first matching template.

Option 2: Automations (Recommended for new products mapped by category)

Platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento2, Wix, BigCommerce, Amazon, Salesforce
Sales channels: TikTok Shop (UK, US, EU, MX, JP)
AfterShip Feed’s Automations feature (formerly Category templates) lets you configure shipping weight and package dimensions as part of the category mapping setup. When a new product from your eCommerce platform is auto-mapped to a TikTok Shop category via an Automation, the shipping details configured in that Automation are automatically applied.
To configure shipping details in an Automation:
Go to Automations in the AfterShip Feed admin and open an existing automation or click Create automation.
Complete the Select products step (choosing the eCommerce categories or product filters to include).
In the Automation info step, scroll to Shipping settings.
Choose one of the following:
Sync from your eCommerce platform: This pulls weight and dimensions already stored in your store.
Configure fallback settings: This applies fixed dimensions when store data is missing or does not meet TikTok Shop’s requirements.
Input fixed dimensions: This sets a fixed size and weight for all products in this automation, useful when your platform does not support these fields.
Complete the remaining settings and click Save.

Why is product size and weight information important?
TikTok Shop uses package height, length, width, and weight to calculate shipping costs, determine carrier compatibility, and provide accurate delivery estimates. Providing correct values is essential to avoid listing errors and incorrect shipping charges.
After syncing products to TikTok Shop, we recommend verifying size and weight information in the TikTok Shop Seller Center to confirm accuracy.
