Overview
AfterShip Shipping makes order management more streamlined with the multitude of filters it supports. Select Add filters to narrow any Fulfillments list. AfterShip Shipping offers 27 filters, and each one becomes a chip below the search bar once you apply it. Filters can be combined, so the list shows only the shipments that match all the filters you have added.
In the example below, the list holds shipments that shipped between February 8 and August 6, 2026, and ship to Canada:
Ship date: February 8-August 6, 2026 | Ship-to country is any: Canada
Each filter applies once. After you add a filter, it drops out of the Add filters list until you remove its chip.
Set and clear filters
Select Add filters, then select the filter you want. A panel opens below the new chip.
Set your condition in the panel. Filters use one of three input patterns, described in the next section.
Select anywhere outside the panel to close it. The chip updates to show the condition you set, such as Age in the last 2 day(s).
To change a condition later, select its chip and edit the panel. To reset the values but keep the filter in place, select Clear in the panel. To remove the filter completely, select the close icon on the chip.
Understand the three filter input patterns
Pattern | How it works | Filters that use it |
Multi-select list | Select one or more checkboxes to match any of the values you pick. Longer lists include a Search box. The operator reads is any of. | Store, Source platform, Tags, Ship-to country, Ship to state/province, Ship to city, Ship from location, Combine/Split, Variant, Package, Carrier, Carrier service, Carrier account name, Label status, Tracking status, Hold reason, Exception type |
Date range | Pick a preset such as Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or Last 180 days, or set a start and end date in the calendar. | Ship date, Updated date, Label purchased date, Est. delivery date, Delivery date |
Numeric value | Enter a number, either by typing or with the stepper arrows. Age also lets you switch the operator between is in last X days and is not in last X days. | Age, Order total, Quantity, Total weight, Shipping cost |
A multi-select list displays only the values that currently exist in your shipments, keeping the options relevant to your data. Two consequences are worth knowing:
The list is empty when no shipment carries that detail. Exception type, for example, shows no options and a dimmed Clear link when none of your shipments has an exception.
Values appear exactly as your store or CSV file recorded them, so Ship to state/province can list both NY and New York when your order data uses both forms.
