Search Orders Easily in AfterShip Shipping Admin: follow setup steps, configure key options, verify behavior, and troubleshoot workflow issues.

Overview

AfterShip Shipping’s search tools help you quickly find specific shipments, even when your Fulfillments dashboard contains thousands of records.

You can search for a single shipment using the search bar or use Bulk search to find multiple shipments at once.

Shipments search criteria

The search bar is case-insensitive. You can search for shipments using any of the following details:

  • Order number: The unique identifier assigned to the source order, such as USORDER1001 or 1001. You can search for an order without entering its prefix.

  • Tracking number: The shipment’s tracking number, such as 56777999001205.

  • Recipient: The recipient’s name associated with the shipment, such as Fate.

  • Product title: The name or title of a product in the shipment, as defined on your eCommerce platform.

  • SKU: The product’s stock keeping unit or item code, as defined on your eCommerce platform, such as Bell-Crane-Copper.

Search for shipments in AfterShip Shipping admin

  1. Go to Fulfillments in your AfterShip Shipping admin.

  2. Open one of the shipment status menus:

    • Awaiting shipment

    • Shipped

    • On hold

    • Canceled

  3. Locate the search bar above the shipments table. It appears below the view tabs, with Bulk search, Add filters, and the columns icon to its right.

  4. Enter an order number or tracking number, recipient, product title, or SKU.

AfterShip Shipping filters the list and displays shipments that match your search.

Search for multiple shipments using Bulk search

Use Bulk search when you need to find multiple shipments at the same time.

  1. Go to Fulfillments and open the relevant shipment status menu.

  2. Select Bulk search beside the search bar.

  3. Choose the field you want to search, such as

    a. Order no. or Tracking no. when the shipments have already been shipped or,

    b. Order no. or Product SKU when the orders are in still awaiting shipment, on hold, or cancelled.

  4. Enter up to 200 search terms. Add one term per line or separate the terms with commas.

  5. Select Search.

AfterShip Shipping filters the shipments list to records matching the terms you entered.
