Set up Apple Wallet Order Tracking With AfterShip Tracking

AfterShip Tracking seamlessly integrates into the iOS experience by enabling shoppers to add order details from the order checkout page, AfterShip Branded Tracking Page, and AfterShip email, and SMS notifications right into their Apple Wallets. Additionally, shoppers can track their orders with real-time order updates right on their Apple Wallets on their iPhones for a seamless experience on the go.
Only Admin, Owner, and Member(s) of the organization (AfterShip Tracking account) can enable the Apple Wallet Order Tracking widget
You must import your orders via a connected eCommerce store, or via AfterShip commerce API or CSV to activate the widget
The widget will apply to all the connected stores and orders once it is enabled

Go to Add-ons in the AfterShip Tracking admin
Click Apple Order Tracking > Get add-on
Enable Track with Apple Wallet Button for the Shopify order status page and AfterShip Tracking customer-facing pages and shipping notifications by shifting the toggle to the right
The following are the locations where you can enable Track with Apple Wallet Buttons.
Only "checkout.liquid" is supported for now. Support for Checkout Extensibility coming soon.
The Track with Apple Wallet Button will be displayed to the shoppers on the Shopify order status page when they visit the page from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac with the latest software version.
As soon as shoppers click the button, the order details with recent tracking information will be added to the Apple Wallet where shoppers can track it.
The Track with Apple Wallet Button will be displayed to the shoppers when they visit the AfterShip Branded Tracking Page to track their packages from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac with the latest software version.
As soon as shoppers click the button, the order details with recent tracking information will be added to the Apple Wallet where shoppers can track it.
You can select the location of the button on the AfterShip Tracking page amongst the following options and simultaneously preview the exact location in the Tracking page editor

The Subscription section is only visible when the shipment status is "info received, in transit, available for pickup, out for delivery, or exception"
As per AfterShip's privacy regulations, when the Tracking page URL is pre-set or manually looked up with "tracking number“, the order number and line item details, including item image and price, will not be downloaded.
To achieve the best experience for Apple Wallet order tracking
Use the "ORDER_URL" instead of the "TRACKING_URL" merge tag to direct your shoppers to the tracking page
Make sure you set up your page URL with parameters pre-set with ”order number" and "email address", following the below pattern on your email or webpage
https://{domain}/order-status?order-number={ordernumber}&email={email}
The Track with Apple Wallet Button will be displayed to the shoppers when they open the shipment email notifications from their supported devices .
As soon as shoppers click the button, the order details along with recent tracking information will be added to the Apple Wallet where shoppers can track it.
The button's location is above the email footer for all the tracking emails. You can view the exact placement in the Email editor
All the shipment statuses are supported
The link to add the order to the Apple Wallet will be displayed to the shoppers when they open the tracking SMSes from their supported devices .
As soon as shoppers click the Track button, the order details with recent tracking information will be added to the Apple Wallet where shoppers can track it.
Edit the basic store information that will appear on the Apple Wallet order page for customer guidance and assistance.
Go to Add-ons in the AfterShip Tracking admin
Click Apple Order Tracking > Apple Wallet Order Page
Select the Order source i.e., the store from where the order will be retrieved to showcase on page
Edit the customer-facing Content on the Apple Wallet Order Page
Store name: The name of your store on your website
Store logo: Accepted formats are JPG/JPEG and PNG and should be > or = 1 MB in 500X500 pixels
Store URL: Your online store link
Order management page URL: Provide a link to the page on your store where customers can manage their orders
Customer support email address (Optional): Your support email address where customers can reach out to you with queries or questions
Customer support phone number (Optional): Your customer support number where customers can talk to your agents
Contact page URL (Optional): Provide a link to the page on your store where customers can talk directly to a support agent, submit a query, or find support info
Hit Save
The shoppers can add order details from the supported locations to their Apple Wallet from iPhone, iPad, and Mac
The shoppers can view and track their online orders in the Apple Wallet app only from iPhone
This could be because of the following reasons
You are not using the supported devices or your iOS version is not up to date. To track an order with Apple Wallet, you are required to access the AfterShip Tracking pages and Shopify order status page on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac with the latest version of ioS, iPadOS, or macOS
The order you’d like to track with your Apple Wallet is already added from the shopper’s supported device. Once the order is added to Apple Wallet, the button will be removed from the tracking pages or Shopify order status page

This could be because of the following reasons
