Overview

As a merchant, you would seek the privilege to send a shipment notification email of your choice to individual shipments. AfterShip lets you send shipment notification emails with a template of your choice. Also, you can preview your email to get a clear idea of what you are sending to your customers and how it looks.

Send shipment emails with selectable templates

There is a daily limit of 10 emails per shipment. Additionally, you can't use order status templates for shipment status notifications.

  1. Navigate to Tracking dashboard > Shipments in your AfterShip Tracking admin.

  2. Select an individual shipment.

  3. Click Send notification > Send email.

  4. By default, you’ll see the recommended template based on the shipment's status. However, you can choose any template from the email list you have created in AfterShip Tracking > Notifications flows

    • The customer’s email will be auto-fetched from the order information or you can choose to send the email to other email address.

  5. Preview the email on the right-hand side.

  6. Once satisfied, click Send.
