Complete store connection actions
Once you connect your Amazon store to AfterShip Tracking, there is one action that we recommend setting up.
Add relevant carrier accounts
Adding carriers to your AfterShip Tracking account helps improve carrier auto-detection and ensures tracking updates are retrieved correctly. Some carriers can be added and used immediately, while others require you to add and connect a carrier account before you can receive tracking updates
Once the connection is established and relevant carriers are added, AfterShip Tracking will automatically import orders from Amazon every 30 minutes.
Which orders are imported
After your Amazon store is connected, AfterShip Tracking imports orders every 30 minutes. Orders are imported only when they meet all applicable conditions below. If the order date, payment status, or fulfillment status does not qualify, the order is not imported.
New orders
Orders placed after you connect your store are imported automatically. The order must have been created within the last 120 days.
Existing orders
Orders placed before you connect your store are checked against the import conditions applied to your platform. For Amazon Seller Central, AfterShip Tracking uses these values:
Condition | Applied value |
How recently the order was created | Last 60 days |
How recently the order was updated | Last 3 days |
Payment status | Paid, partially paid, and unpaid |
Fulfillment status | All statuses |
Excluded order tags or shipping methods | Not supported |
Excluding orders by tag or shipping method is available only for Shopify, Magento 2, and Extensiv.

Please note:
Unlimited Amazon Stores: You can connect an unlimited number of Amazon stores to the same AfterShip Tracking organization.
Tracking Quota: The number of shipments you can track is dependent on your AfterShip subscription plan and its associated tracking quota. If you exceed this quota, you have the option to upgrade your plan or pay a surcharge for additional shipments.
Plan Applicability: Upgrading your AfterShip plan affects your entire account, not just one store, meaning all linked Amazon stores share the same features and shipment quota.
Unified Tracking Page: AfterShip allows for a single tracking page for orders from multiple Amazon stores. This facilitates a unified dashboard where all shipments are imported, and customers can track their orders collectively
Centralized Notification Settings: Notification settings, templates, and the send-from email are managed at the account level, providing consistency across all connected stores.
For more details, refer to your current plan’s quota in our pricing plans.
2. Why can't I see import settings for my Amazon store?
Import settings are available only for self-service platforms. Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Wix, Shoplazza, NetSuite, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ShipBob, ShipHero, Shopline, and Walmart use predefined import conditions that you cannot change.
3. Why are some of my older Amazon orders missing?
Existing orders are imported only if they were created within the last 60 days and updated within the last 3 days. Orders outside both windows are not imported.
