Create and manage your Easyship account in AfterShip Shipping
Step 1: Sign up with Easyship
To enable shipping label generation through Easyship, merchants must create a new Easyship account directly within AfterShip Shipping. Existing Easyship accounts created outside of AfterShip are not supported for this integration. This embedded setup ensures a seamless onboarding experience, allowing merchants to create, configure, and manage their Easyship account entirely within the AfterShip Shipping admin, without switching platforms.
Step 2: Open Easyship from carrier accounts
- Go to Carriers > Carrier accounts in your AfterShip Shipping admin.
- In the AfterShip shipping partners card, click Add partner.

- Use the country/region filter to verify whether Easyship supports carriers in your desired shipping location.

Step 3: Complete the 3-step Easyship account setup
Upon selecting the Easyship Try now option, the Easyship onboarding modal will open. The setup flow has three steps:

- Contact information: Provide your name and contact details.
- Billing address: Enter your company billing address.
- During setup, Easyship validates both your address and payment information in real time.
- Make sure your billing address is complete and accurate. For example, Hong Kong addresses must include a district area name.
- Payment information: Add a credit card for billing. If the card is declined, you will remain on this step and will see a decline error.
- Click Continue to create your account.
Note: AfterShip Shipping does not charge or collect payments for labels. All payments are handled directly through your Easyship account.
Step 4: Select carriers and services
- After creating your account, you'll be prompted to choose which couriers and services to enable.
- By default, AfterShip recommends options based on your organization’s country.
- You can confirm the default setup or adjust it later as needed.
You can also update your enabled carriers and services at any time from the Easyship account settings page.

Step 5: Manage billing
In the Payment information section, you can manage the following:
- Account balance: View your current Easyship credit balance.
- Add credits: Once the Easyship account is active, click the Add Credits button under the AfterShip Shipping partners section to add credits as needed.
- Auto-recharge: Auto-recharge is disabled by default. You can enable it and set a recharge threshold and amount to ensure uninterrupted label generation.

- Payment method: View or update the credit card linked to your account.
- Request refund: Submit a refund request for eligible credits.
Important: If your Easyship account balance is insufficient, label generation will fail. We strongly recommend adding credits and enabling auto-recharge for a smoother operational experience.
Step 5: Manage account details

Once your account is active, go to Edit Easyship account to manage your carrier and service selections. From this page you can also:
- View your Account ID
- Click View shipping rates to be redirected to the Easyship Rates Calculator to compare available shipping options and costs
Use Easyship services in the order sheet
Once carriers and services are enabled in your Easyship account, they will appear in the Carrier service dropdown when creating shipping labels in the Shipping orders dashboard.
Easyship-backed services are grouped under the label Carriers connected via Easyship, with individual enabled service names listed within that group.
