Overview
AfterShip Shipping is a multi-carrier shipping software and API that lets you automate shipping processes across USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and 100+ other carriers. Follow the steps below to get the required credentials and access the Seven Senders shipping API through AfterShip Shipping.
Get your Seven Senders credentials
Contact your Seven Senders point of contact (Integration team) to request your API credentials: Access key.
Seven Senders issues access per brand (shop), not per company. If you ship for more than one brand, request a separate access key for each brand and connect each one as its own carrier account in AfterShip Shipping.
Seven Senders provides separate keys for its UAT (testing) and production environments. Make sure you use the key that matches the environment you're connecting.
Confirm your subscribed services with your Seven Senders point of contact. AfterShip Shipping currently supports the two return services listed below. If your subscribed service isn't listed, contact your AfterShip point of contact to request that it be added.

AfterShip Shipping supports return shipments only for Seven Senders.
Service type | Service name | Last-mile carrier |
|
|
| Swiss Post PostPac Economy GAS | Swiss Post | CHE | CHE |
| Austrian Post Return Parcel | Austrian Post | AUT | AUT |
Seven Senders resells 100+ European carriers and services, but only the two return services above are available through AfterShip Shipping today.
Limitations
Return labels only. Forward (outbound) shipments aren't supported for these two services. Create labels through the Shipping API with
return_shipment = true. These services aren't available in the Shipping web portal.Drop-off returns only. Seven Senders doesn't offer door pickup for returns. The shopper must drop the parcel off at a carrier location.
QR code returns aren't supported yet. Only printed labels are available today.
Tracking results appear with a delay. Seven Senders announces parcels to the last-mile carrier through an end-of-day EDI transfer, so a newly created tracking number won't return results on the Swiss Post or Austrian Post website right away. Tracking updates begin only after the parcel is physically handed over to the carrier. Labels created in the Seven Senders test environment are never trackable.
