Overview

Integrate Postscript with AfterShip Tracking to help your customers remain updated on their package’s shipping status via automated SMS notifications. As soon as the delivery status changes in AfterShip Tracking, it sends the real-time information to Postscript via webhook. Postscript then triggers an SMS to update the customer about the latest shipping status.

Integrate Postscript with AfterShip Tracking

  1. Log in to your AfterShip Tracking account.

  2. Install Postscript to your Shopify store.

  3. Go to Emails and SMS > Webhooks in your AfterShip Tracking admin.

  4. Copy the active webhook secret.

  5. Go to Apps in your Postscript admin and search for AfterShip Tracking.

  6. Paste the webhook secret on Postscript and copy the webhook URL provided.

  7. Go back to the Webhooks page in AfterShip Tracking > Click Add webhook URL.

  8. Choose the webhook version, paste the URL you copied from Postscript, enable OAuth 2.0 (optional), and add custom headers, if required.

  9. Click Save.

Note: To avoid duplicate SMS notifications while using Postscript, please disable AfterShip Tracking SMS notifications.

Supported events

Postscript supports SMS notifications only for the following shipment statuses:

  • In Transit

  • Out for Delivery

  • Delivery

  • Failed Attempt
